Master Scuba Diver

The Experience

This course is for those that have completed their Rescue Diver certification and looking to further their education with the Master Scuba Diver course. This course covers five specialties of your choosing. The specialty dives that you completed in your Advanced Open Water course may count towards those specialties that you want to complete.For example, if you would like to become a Deep Diver, you would have one dive completed from your Advanced Open Water Course that would be put towards the Deep Diver specialty.

What You Will Learn

  • Gain knowledge of skills needed to dive under the the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.
  • Learn about the scuba equipment you will be using underwater.
  • Knowledge of the five specialties of your choosing.
  • Have fun exploring the underwater world and learning about marine life and coral species.
  • Learn about how you can become a certified PADI Divemaster.

Start Your Course

PADI Master Scuba Diver
For this course, you will need stop by your local dive shop and attain five specialty manuals. You must complete all five specialty knowledge reviews prior to the start of your course in the chosen specialty manuals. Each specialty requires a different number of dives. Some specialties do not require dives such as Emergency Oxegen Privider. There are plenty of specialties to chose from, so have fun picking!

In order to participate in a PADI Master Scuba Diver course, you must be a minimum of 12 years old. You also must have your PADI Rescue Diver certification. This course requires 50 logged dives. You will also need to fill out a PADI Medical Statement. The PADI Medical Statement ensures that you are in good physical and mental health to scuba dive. You may need your family physician to sign off on your medical statement before the start of your course.
